* what... very cold wind chills expected. Expect wind chills to
range from 5 above zero to 15 below zero. Black ice creating
hazardous driving conditions.
* Where... Swain, Haywood and Graham counties.
* When... until 7 am EST Thursday.
* Additional details... the cold wind chills will cause frostbite
in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. Any melt water will
quickly refreeze after sunset, resulting in hazardous driving
conditions through tomorrow morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory for black ice means that refreezing of
roads will occur... resulting in the development of widespread
black ice. Be prepared for very slippery roadways. Some roads that
appear clear may be covered by a thin layer of ice.
