* Until further notice.
* At 6:00 PM Monday the stage was 24.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 24.6 feet by
early Friday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.

* At 227 PM MDT, small stream flooding continues across portions of
northeastern Phillips County, Central Valley County, Daniels
County, Sheridan County, and Roosevelt County due to a combination
of snowmelt and some minor ice jams.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Glasgow, Wolf Point, Plentywood, Scobey, Poplar, Culbertson,
Nashua, Brockton, Fort Peck, Medicine Lake, Saco, Froid, Flaxville,
Duck Creek rec area, Peerless, Hinsdale, Lustre, port of Scobey,
Redstone and Whitetail.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

The National Weather Service in Glasgow has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect from 9 PM this evening to 11 am MDT
Tuesday.

* Visibilities... less than a quarter of a mile at times,
especially during the overnight and early morning hours.

* Timing... between 9 PM this evening and 11 am Tuesday.

* Impacts... reduced visibilities will make travel difficult at
times. Some roads will be icy due to below freezing
temperatures.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
