The Flood Warning continues for
the Battle Creek near Chinook.
* Until Tuesday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:30 PM Wednesday the stage was 12.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 12.3 feet by
tomorrow evening.

The Flood Warning continues for
the milk river near Harlem.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:30 PM Wednesday the stage was 23.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 25.4 feet by
Monday evening then begin falling.
* Impacts... flooding will continue in Harlem. Flooding is expected
in fort Belknap.

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
snowmelt in...
Blaine County in north central Montana...
Hill County in north central Montana...

* until 815 PM MDT Sunday

* at 800 PM MDT, emergency management reported flooding in hill and
Blaine counties. Numerous roads are being impacted by flooding.

* Numerous creeks and rivers are flooding across portions of hill
and Blaine counties. Water will rise quickly during the afternoon
and evening hours as the snowmelt continues. Expect the flooding
to continue into the weekend.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Havre, Chinook, Harlem, Beaver Creek, Inverness, Gildford, Hays,
fort Belknap, Turner, Box Elder, azure, Hingham, Rudyard, Lohman,
Lodge Pole, Cleveland, Zurich, Laredo, Lloyd and Kremlin.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
