... An area of strong thunderstorms will affect north central Queen
Anne's... northwestern Kent and southwestern Cecil counties...

At 233 PM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms was over Bowleys
Quarters, or near Middle River, moving east at 20 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Chestertown, Rock Hall, Betterton, Newtown, Starkey Corner, Old Town,
Langford and Kingstown.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

agency. They can relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Mount Holly NJ.
