The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from noon EST /11 am CST/ today to
7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ this evening.

* Timing... the strongest wind gusts are expected between 1pm and
5pm EST... noon and 4pm CST.

* Winds... gusts to 40 mph out of the south are anticipated.

* Impacts... winds this strong can make driving difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles on east west roads.

... .gusty southwest winds expected Wednesday...

A deepening low pressure system will slide across the southern
Great Lakes region through Wednesday, strengthening surface winds
over the Ohio River valley as it does so. Sustained winds will be
between 15 and 25 mph with gusts between 30 and 40 mph at times,
especially Wednesday afternoon. These strong winds could blow
loose outdoor items such as lawn furniture and Holiday decorations
around. In addition, travel in high profile vehicles may be
difficult on east to west oriented roadways.
