... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday
afternoon...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of southern Indiana and all of central Kentucky

* through Wednesday afternoon

* a slow-moving frontal boundary will remain close enough to the
region until a cold front pushes it through on Wednesday. Plenty
of moisture in the vicinity of this front will mean any shower
or storm will have the potential to produce heavy rain and
possibly flash flooding.

* Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are forecast east
of I-65, with 1 to 2 inches to the west through Wednesday. This
additional rainfall on top of what has already fallen could
lead to significant flash flooding, especially Tuesday afternoon
and night.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
