Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 2:35 PM CST Jan. 21, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning now in effect from 3 am Monday to
midnight CST Monday night...

* what... heavy mixed precipitation expected. Plan on difficult
travel conditions, including during both the morning and evening
commutes on Monday. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches,
with localized amounts up to 6 inches, and ice accumulations of
up to one tenth of an inch are expected. A sharp edge of higher
snow amounts will be in northwest portions of each County in
the Winter Storm Warning.

* Where... portions of northern to northwestern Iowa.

* When... 3 am Monday to midnight Monday night.

* Additional details... winds gusting as high as 40 mph will
cause patchy blowing and drifting snow.
