... Flash Flood Watch in effect from Wednesday morning through
Wednesday evening...

The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for all of Southeast Arizona.

* From Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening

* abundant moisture over much of Sonora Mexico will move northward
into Southeast Arizona tonight and continue across the area
Wednesday into Wednesday evening. Widespread showers with
periods of thunderstorms are expected to occur. Heavy rainfall
will be capable of producing flash flooding at times.

* Areas along washes, small streams and drainages plus wildfire
areas such as the Frye burn scar will be susceptible to
flooding. Low water crossings and poorly drained roads may
become impassable. Rural and dirt roads may also become washed
out at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions are becoming favorable
for widespread flash flooding to develop. Monitor forecasts
closely and be ready to take quick action if flash flood warnings
are issued.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize
the dangers of flash floods. If flash flooding is observed... act
quickly. Turn around and take another Route.
