Flash Flood Warning
Issued: 5:49 PM MDT Jul. 19, 2018 – National Weather Service

... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 700 PM MST for
Yavapai and Coconino counties...

At 546 PM MST, rain has ended across the warning area. However,
flash flooding has been reported in the Ash Fork area and may
continue through 7 PM MST.

Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Ash Fork.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Eightmile
creek... Ash Fork Draw... Partridge creek... Johnson Creek... Meath
wash... Martin Dam Draw... pineveta wash... Hell Canyon... big Chino wash
and rattlesnake wash.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between mile markers 132 and 154.
State Route 89 between mile markers 355 and 363.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Coconino County in north central Arizona...

* until 745 PM MST

* at 445 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain in the eastern House Rock Valley. Flash flooding is
expected to begin shortly.

* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of Coconino
County.

This includes the following streams and drainages... House Rock
wash... South Fork Soap Creek... Emmett wash... Soap Creek and Badger
Canyon.

This includes U.S. Highway 89a between mile markers 539 and 555.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

heavy rain near House Rock. Flash flooding is expected to begin
shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
House Rock.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Coyote Wash...
House Rock wash and Emmett wash.

This includes U.S. Highway 89a between mile markers 556 and 572.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Coconino County in north central Arizona...

* until 615 PM MST

* at 308 PM MST, National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Antelope Creek, about 10
miles south of Antelope Canyon. 1 to 2 inches of rain will fall
with these storms, producing a flash flood that will travel north
toward Antelope Canyon.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Antelope Canyon near sr 98 and Antelope Creek basin.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Antelope Creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
